Your First Visit
Many patients just starting at our office begin with a thorough cleaning and examination, which usually includes x-rays. Patients coming to us for help with a specific problem will receive a thorough examination and consultation so we can learn about the difficulty they are having. In every case, we will collect a new patient’s medical history and information on any dental, health or treatment concerns they may have. An initial visit will typically last about an hour. As you begin your treatment with us, please let us know anything we can do to make you more comfortable.
Anxiety and Fear of the Dentist
If you suffer from anxiety before dentist visits, or if fear keeps you away from the care and treatment you need, please understand that you are not alone. We have helped many patients overcome this fear. Just like we would not want a member of our own family to fear dental care, we do not want you to fear coming to us for care. One way to address severe anxiety preventing patients from getting the treatment they need is through the use nitrous oxide. This is a fast-acting sedative and the results wear off rapidly, as soon as your treatment is complete. Please call us and let us know if you have concerns about anxiety or fear.
Payment and Insurance
We are happy to accept cash, checks, credit cards and most types of insurance. If you need the flexibility of extended payments, we offer three, six and twelve month no-interest plans and a 24-month extended plan. Decisions on financing are typically made in just minutes so you can schedule the treatment you need right away.
